Disclaimer ASSOCC framework (d.d. March 31, 2020)
The ASSOCC framework is an experimentation tool meant to simulate social behaviour in reaction to a given policy measure in relation to the novel Corona virus (SARS-COV-2) and COVID-19. It allows for the experimentation and evaluation of possible interventions and their combined effects, in a simulated controlled environment. All variables, parameters, scales, assumptions and scenario’s of the ASSOCC framework are experimental and hypothetical in nature and do not represent clinical and/or scientific evidence.
The ASSOCC framework does not offer any guarantee as to the correctness, functionality, validity or continuity of the models, data, assumptions or simulations of the ASSOCC framework. The use of and reliance on the ASSOCC framework and/or its simulation results is entirely at the user’s own risk.
The ASSOCC framework explicitly does not make any predictions or assessments as to the actual behaviour of a population or the actual effect of a measure or intervention or their combined effects, nor does it make any predictions or assessments about SARS-COV-2 and/or COVID-19. The ASSOCC framework explicitly does it provide any warranty or proof as to the effectiveness or succes of any simulation or the effectiveness or success of any measure or intervention based thereon.
Under no circumstances shall Umea University, its contributors/employees or its affiliated organizations and their employees or anyone else involved in developing or maintaining the ASSOCC framework be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits that result directly or indirectly from the use or inability to use the ASSOCC framework, or that result directly or indirectly from mistakes, omissions, interruptions, deletion of files, viruses, errors, defects, or any failure of performance or unauthorized access.
